Forklift Operator/Material Handler

Job details $17 - $19 an hour Job Type Part-time Full Job Description Florida Pool Finishers in a pool finishing/plastering construction company seeking a candidate proficient in forklift operation to fullfil a part-time position in a fast paced environment. Work Schedule: Part time, Monday-Friday (Ocassional Saturdays) 5:00am to 9:00 am Warehouse Pay: $15-$17/hour depending on experience Bonus: Discretionary bonus on a quaterly basis depending on performance For more information call: 813-820-9957 Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Operates forklift to unload incoming material deliveries to the warehouse (Cement, pebble, pigments, etc.) Loads trucks in accordance with material load sheets on a daily basis. Stacks pallets of product in designated areas in the warehouse. Counts and verifies materials and supplies - Inventory control to determine if additional materials are needed to be ordered. Responsible for keeping warehouse clean and orderly. Adheres to all safety codes and OSHA standards. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representation of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Able to move easily around warehouse. Must be able to lift/move bags, which average 50 pounds and can weigh up to a maximum of 100 pounds; you must be physically capable of routinely lifting at those weight levels. Able to operate all equipment safely and efficiently, including safe operation of a forklift (may need to operate forklift for up to 75% of shift). Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of warehouse experience. Forklift certification preferred. Working Conditions: Warehouse environment. Exposure to machinery with moving parts. Some exposure to extreme temperatures, fumes, chemicals, and outside weather conditions, including wet and/or humid conditions.
