Forklift Operator/Material Handler
Adapt-a-Pak, Inc.Forklift Operator Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM Position Summary Adapt A Pak is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team. This position is responsible for the safe operation of a propane sit-down forklift, loading and unloading trucks, and supporting daily warehouse operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Safely operate a propane sit-down forklift. Perform and document daily pre-shift forklift inspections. Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks efficiently and safely. Move, stage, and organize materials within the warehouse. Utilize computer systems for inventory and shipping/receiving functions. Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse policies. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned. Qualifications Ability to safely operate a propane sit-down forklift. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Basic computer skills. Strong attention to safety and detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday. Work Schedule Monday through Friday 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM Adapt A Pak is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
