The pallets you build feed village stores, schools and clinics across rural Alaska that roads don’t reach. $23–$27 an hour · Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM · Summer Saturday overtime during barge season Who we are We receive freight from Anchorage suppliers, consolidate it and ship it to off-road communities around Bethel, Nome, Kotzebue and the Aleutians. We ship by air cargo all year and by barge in summer. Our customers include village stores, school districts, tribal organizations, clinics and contractors. We’ve added two new school districts, so freight stays busy all winter and we’re hiring two operators. What you’ll do Unload supplier trucks at our three dock doors Check freight against bills of lading Pick and stage orders with a scanner Build tight, stable pallets for air cargo and barge, then shrink-wrap and label them Load outbound trucks to the airport and port Help our crating team when a load needs a box Hours We work 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday. From May through September, we add some Saturday shifts for barge season, and those hours are paid at overtime. What you need 1+ year on a forklift, sit-down and pallet jack (reach truck is a plus) Experience building and shrink-wrapping stable pallets Ability to read bills of lading and use a handheld scanner Ability to lift 50 lbs We’ll handle your forklift certification on site.
