Forklift Operator Day Shift

Location: Plant City - 33566 Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00AM to 4:00PM Join Our Team at Peninsula Steel! At Peninsula Steel , we’re building stronger communities — and stronger careers. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Helper to support our daily warehouse and plant operations. This is a hands-on role where no two days are exactly the same. You may support different tasks depending on daily needs, always working as part of a team and with safety as a top priority. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys staying active, working with their hands, and being part of a collaborative environment. What You’ll Be Doing Load and unload trucks safely Move materials throughout the warehouse and plant Help organize, stack, and store materials Assist in feeding machinery with materials as needed Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe Follow all safety rules, procedures, and company guidelines Support other warehouse and operations tasks as needed Equipment & Work Environment This role may require using equipment such as forklifts, cranes, or other material-handling tools Forklift operation is part of this position Some tasks may require working at heights Work takes place in both warehouse and plant environments What We’re Looking For: Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is a plus Forklift experience is required A positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines Team-oriented and dependable Physical Requirements Ability to stand for at least 7 hours per day Ability to lift, push, pull, and walk for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation Ability to work both indoors and outdoors , in different weather and temperature conditions Why You’ll Love Working Here Supportive and respectful team environment.
