Forklift Operator

Overview We are seeking a safety-conscious Forklift Operator to support our daily yard movements. In this hands-on role, you’ll move, stage, and organize products while helping the team fulfill orders accurately and keep the plant running efficiently. Experience with a forklift, zoom boom, and rough terrain forklift is valuable; training may be provided based on experience. Duties Operate forklifts, zoom boom, and rough terrain forklift to move, load, unload, and stage materials safely. Pick and prepare orders, verify items and quantities, and move completed orders to designated areas. Use a warehouse management system (WMS) to review tasks, record inventory movements, and update order status. Follow plant procedures for product handling, storage, and inventory organization. Inspect equipment before use, report maintenance or safety concerns, and keep work areas orderly. Coordinate with plant colleagues to support timely and accurate order fulfillment. Perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving materials, in accordance with safe-handling practices. Requirements Prior experience in warehouse distribution or a similar material-handling environment is preferred. Ability to operate a forklift safely; experience with a clamp truck or order picker is a plus. Familiarity with order picking and warehouse management systems is preferred. Basic math skills to verify counts, quantities, and product information. Mechanical knowledge or the ability to identify basic equipment issues is an advantage. Ability to perform heavy lifting and remain active throughout the shift, with or without reasonable accommodation. Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to workplace safety.
