Forklift Operator - 1st Shift

Position Overview: Support community feeding efforts by operating forklifts to replenish warehouse inventory, ensuring efficient and safe operations. Responsibilities Include Operating forklifts to transport merchandise within the warehouse Tracking inventory with handheld devices and technology Stacking, rotating, and replenishing products for order fulfillment Loading/unloading trailers and staging finished goods Adhering to all safety protocols and handling materials safely Occasional lifting of products weighing 1-60 lbs or more, including handling sharp objects Qualifications & Skills One or more years of material handling equipment experience Strong safety awareness and adherence to procedures Team-oriented with a passion for community support Ability to follow safe operating procedures High school diploma or GED Additional Details Compensation: $25/hr plus shift differential and incentives after training Benefits from day one: medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, holiday pay, tuition reimbursement, wellness programs, employee discounts Work environment includes grocery storage areas at 50°-90° temperatures Opportunities for career progression and safety shoe allowance in some locations This role plays a vital part in maintaining efficient warehouse operations, supporting community feeding initiatives, and fostering team collaboration in a safety-focused environment.
