Forklift Operator

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of forklifts and material handling equipment to efficiently move, locate, and organize inventory within the warehouse. Your expertise will ensure smooth distribution operations, accurate order picking, and adherence to safety protocols. This position requires to be the Team Lead and manage warehouse assistants to complete tasks. Responsibilities Safely operate Reach/Order Picker forklift trucks to load, unload, and transport goods throughout the warehouse. Perform heavy lifting tasks such as unloading containers with proper technique to ensure safety and efficiency during inventory movement Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory locations and update stock records accurately Stock count Assist with order picking by selecting items according to order specifications and preparing shipments for dispatch Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and other equipment, reporting any maintenance needs or safety concerns promptly Support warehouse distribution processes by organizing stock in designated areas and maintaining a clean, safe work environment Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and ensure optimal operation during shifts Team Lead and manage warehouse assistants to complete tasks. Requirements Proven experience operating Reach/Order Picker forklifts in a warehouse or distribution setting Strong mechanical knowledge to understand equipment functions and perform basic troubleshooting Class 2 Certificate required. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently as part of daily tasks Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and order processing Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately Experience with order picking procedures to fulfill customer or internal requests precisely Valid forklift certification or license as required by local regulations; willingness to obtain certification if neededJoin our team as a Forklift Operator and become a vital part of our logistics operation!
