In this vital role, you will operate various types of material handling equipment—including forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and Hi-Lo forklifts—to efficiently load, unload, and organize inventory. Responsibilities Safely operate forklift trucks, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and Hi-Lo forklifts to load and unload materials Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning tools to ensure accurate stock levels Pick and pack orders with precision to meet shipping deadlines while maintaining quality standards Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment to ensure optimal operation and safety compliance Assist with manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting and materials movement within the warehouse Follow OSHA safety standards and warehouse safety protocols to prevent accidents and promote a secure work environment Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing stock locations and optimizing storage space Requirements Proven experience operating forklift equipment including reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, Hi-Los, and load & unload machinery Strong understanding of warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, inventory management, order picking, and materials handling Knowledge of warehouse safety standards such as OSHA regulations for forklift operation and manual handling procedures Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and order accuracy Excellent attention to detail when using barcode scanning systems for logistics tracking Prior experience in warehouse management systems (WMS) or similar software is preferred Valid forklift certification or equivalent credentials demonstrating competence in heavy equipment operation Join us in creating an efficient, safe, and organized warehouse environment where your skills make a real impact!
