Food Truck Team Lead

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Food Truck Team Lead to support our mobile food service operations. The Team Lead will serve as the acting supervisor in the absence of the Manager, ensuring smooth operation and excellent customer service. This role is ideal for someone with leadership qualities who can step in when needed and assist with various team functions. All positions are paid, and this role offers an opportunity to develop leadership skills within a dynamic food service environment. Duties Act as the team leader during times when the Manager is not present, providing guidance and support to staff members. Assist with food preparation, serving customers, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Support the team in setting up and breaking down the food truck at each location. Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed consistently. Help coordinate daily tasks to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction. Address customer inquiries or concerns professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary. Support inventory management by assisting with stock checks and replenishment as needed. Maintain a positive work environment by fostering teamwork and communication among staff members. Experience Previous experience in food service or a related hospitality role is preferred. Leadership or supervisory experience is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn leadership responsibilities is essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure are important qualities for this role. Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and handle multiple tasks efficiently. A proactive attitude with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
