Food Truck Driver and Line Cook

We are seeking a reliable, energetic, and highly organized Food Truck Driver & Line Cook to join our team. This dual-role position is responsible for safely operating and transporting the food truck to scheduled locations and events, as well as assisting with food preparation, cooking, and delivering high-quality menu items with speed and consistency. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, maintains high food safety standards, and provides excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities: Driving & Logistics Safely operate and transport the food truck to scheduled service locations, private events, and catering functions Maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record Conduct daily vehicle inspections (fluids, tires, lights, equipment functionality) Ensure truck is properly stocked, secured, and compliant with local health and safety regulations Assist with setup and breakdown of service stations Food Preparation & Cooking Prepare ingredients (chopping, slicing, portioning, marinating, etc.) according to recipes and prep lists Cook menu items accurately and efficiently during service Ensure rapid and consistent delivery of orders during peak service times Maintain food quality, presentation, and portion control standards Monitor food inventory and communicate shortages Sanitation & Safety Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times Properly store food items and rotate inventory (FIFO method) Comply with health department regulations and company policies Customer Service Provide friendly, professional service to customers Answer questions about menu items Maintain a positive and team-oriented attitude Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required Valid driver’s license with clean driving record Clean background check Drug testing may apply Ability to lift 40–50 lbs and stand for extended periods Ability to work in hot food truck enviroment Ability to work evenings, weekends, and events as scheduled Strong time management and multitasking skills Preferred: Previous line cook, food truck, or fast-paced kitchen experience Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain) Competitive pay based on experience.
