Floral / Gift Shop Manager

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Floral / Gift Shop Manager to lead our vibrant retail environment. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, manage a dynamic team, and ensure an exceptional customer experience. Duties Lead and supervise the retail sales team, providing training, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure high standards of customer service and sales excellence Oversee inventory management, including purchasing, stock replenishment, and stock control to optimize product availability and minimize waste Manage store operations including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, POS system management, and bookkeeping tasks Develop merchandising strategies to enhance product displays, promote seasonal items, and maximize sales opportunities Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a positive shopping experience for all visitors Implement sales strategies through effective pricing, promotional activities, and upselling techniques to meet or exceed sales targets Qualifications Proven management experience within retail environments, particularly in floral or gift shop settings preferred Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team Demonstrated proficiency in inventory control systems, POS systems, and basic bookkeeping practices Experience with purchasing, merchandising, and operational management in a retail setting Knowledge of floral design principles or gift shop product knowledge is a plus Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment Experience in recruiting, interviewing, employee orientation, training & development is highly valued Join us as our Floral / Gift Shop Manager and lead a passionate team dedicated to creating beautiful experiences!
