FLORAL DESIGNER/BUYER Job Summary We are seeking an experienced creative individual who is passionate about floral design and plants. The ideal candidate needs to possess a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as, the ability to multitask. SALARY BASED ON EXPERIENCE Responsibilities Create high-quality designs and provide exceptional customer service. Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and maintaining appropriate levels of floral supplies, flowers, and plants. Working with other designers on coordinating weddings/special events and ordering flowers. Utilize retail math to analyze sales trends and make informed purchasing decisions. Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide custom floral solutions. Must be creative and be able to design and execute beautiful floral displays. Stay updated on industry trends in floral design and retail sales to enhance product offerings. Requirements Experience in floral retail sales environment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in English for effective communication with customers and team members. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and point-of-sale systems. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed. A passion for flowers and plants, along with creativity in floral arrangements. We are a family owned and operated business established in 1931.
