Floral Delivery Driver & Shop Assistant

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00–$19.00/hour + mileage reimbursement for deliveries Benefits: full medical, dental and vision; retirement program; paid sick leave Schedule: Wednesday–Sunday (Mondays and Tuesdays off), hours between 10am and 8pm Extras: monthly cellphone stipend, employee stock options after 1 year, discount on flowers We're looking for a motivated, dependable Driver & Shop Assistant to join our Los Angeles team. You'll split your time between delivering flowers and supporting our floral design team in the shop. On any given day you might be driving, processing flowers, restocking, or keeping the shop in top shape. The work is hands-on, fast-paced, and physically active. It's also a great way to learn the flower industry from the inside, and a fun job because everyone LOVES getting flowers! What you'll do Delivery Deliver arrangements to customers in your own vehicle Give every customer a friendly, professional experience Shop support Receive and process flowers to company standards, and report damaged stems to the Shop Assistant Lead for credit Count floral inventory and enter it in our Admin system Keep supplies and glassware stocked Lift and move buckets, arrangements, glass, and other large items Keep the store, storefront, cooler, bathrooms, and parking lot clean Qualifications and requirements Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance Clean driving record Able to work in a fast-paced environment and switch between tasks as needs change Able to work weekends and holidays Physical requirements Able to lift, bend, squat, reach, carry, and stand for extended periods during your shift Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Frequent use of hands and arms for lifting, restocking, and carrying Comfortable working in cooler environments and handling buckets of water and floral supplies Compensation and benefits $18.00–$19.00/hour + mileage reimbursement for deliveries Monthly cellphone stipend Full health benefits (medical, dental, vision) and retirement program Paid sick leave Employee Stock Option Program for full-time employees after 1 year of employment Professional Development Program Discount off retail flowers About French Florist French Florist is a floral boutique with three company-owned shops in Los Angeles and a growing franchise network.
