JOB SUMMARY Under supervision of the Streets Superintendent, the Fleet Technician ensures the City's vehicles and equipment are maintained and in good working condition. Performs minor repairs and maintenance on mechanical and automotive equipment. Full Job Description here. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High School diploma or equivalent is required. Two (2) years' experience in general vehicle or equipment maintenance and repair, including one (1) year of experience in a specialized area; OR, any equivalent combination of experience and training and/or education that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Valid Class C Texas Driver's License is required; a Class B Commercial Driver's License is preferred. Automotive Service Excellence and/or Emergency Vehicle Technician is desired.
