Fleet Technician

Pay will start at $17/hour but is negotiable based on experience and abilities. We are a family-run business. We can appreciate a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. You will be working alongside our Fleet Mechanic to keep our fleet of semi-trucks, box trucks, and vans operating. Duties: -Oil changes/tires/brakes -auto A/C repair -minor body repairs, replacing lights, wipers -fueling trucks on scheduled days -assist on trailer/truck box repairs (installing e-track, patching floors) -all other routine maintenance tasks -assist in keeping accurate and consistent records for fleet maintenance -assist on larger repairs/mechanical issues/road calls -keeping shop, lots, and vehicles clean and organized Requirements: -Must be at least 21 years old. -Must be able to operate a manual transmission. -Must be able to pass a federal background check and drug test. -Must have clean driving record. - Experience in equipment maintenance and repair preferred - Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. - Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and operate machinery. - Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures. - Ability to work independently or as part of a team. - Willingness to learn new skills and exhibit self-motivation while on duty.
