MYR Group Inc.About the Role: The Fleet Shop Helper is an entry-level position that assists in the daily operations of the Fleet shop department. Essential Functions Perform shop maintenance-related work as required Maintain a clean, safe work environment in compliance with corporate policies and OSHA standards Clean the shop and returns tools and equipment to proper locations Perform all work in accordance within established safety procedures Drive company vehicle to pick up and deliver parts Operate Forklift Complete required paperwork, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times Perform other assigned tasks Regular and predictable attendance Essential functions of this position are to be performed at a Company-designated office or field location About You: Qualifications High school diploma or GED is required 1+ years of experience in equipment or auto repair Must have insurable driving record Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Ability to use technology to accomplish assigned tasks Ability to multitask and work independently Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position Working knowledge of applicable safety procedures Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, reach, stand and move as needed Exposure to gasoline and other mechanical fluids Must be able to work in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold Ability to lift 50 lbs. What We Offer: Compensation & Benefits Salary $22.00-$24.00 / hour Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
