About Mobilease Mobilease is the largest independent provider of office trailers in Southern Ontario. The company leases & sells mobile office trailers, seacans and specialty containers (office & washroom) primarily to construction, industrial, and commercial customers. Job Description The Fleet & Operations Manager leads yard and fleet operations. At its core, the role quarterbacks the preparation, maintenance and execution of the rental fleet. The role has full ownership of the yard, including its crew, tools, equipment and ensures processes are implemented and consistently followed. This is a high-volume business that requires someone attentive, well organized, and focused on operational efficiency and high-quality service. The Fleet & Operations Manager is accountable for timely and accurate day-to-day execution, both internally and for customers. Duties & Responsibilities Plan and oversee all yard and project-related activities so work is clearly defined, organized, and completed efficiently Schedule deliveries, pickups, relocations, and service calls Book third-party carriers and confirm site contacts and access details for each move Maintain an accurate record of yard inventory, incoming returns, and unit condition Direct the yard crew on unit preparation and repairs Inspect returned units and identify maintenance required Purchase and track maintenance materials (insulation, tin, air conditioners, lights, doors, panels, tiles, etc.) and manage supplier pricing and stock levels Communicate daily with the Sales Leader & Accounts Manager, and regularly with the CEO and VP of Operations Technical Skills Proven experience supervising and leading field, service, or yard personnel, including training, coaching, and/or performance management Experience in scheduling and/or dispatching logistics, services or products Proficient with Microsoft Office and navigating computer folders Comfortable working in a scheduling or rental system and quick to learn new software General knowledge in carpentry / electrical / HVAC is advantageous Interpersonal Skills Clear, direct communicator Works well with others Calm and professional with customers, especially under pressure Organized Takes pride and ownership in their work Relevant Experience Any experience in rental operations, dispatch, yard or fleet coordination, property or facilities management or a construction trade is advantageous Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
