Ocala, Florida 34480 Full-Time | Monday–Friday Join Our Team Johnson Brothers Plumbing is hiring an experienced Fleet Mechanic, Maintenance & Warehouse Manager for our Ocala location. This is a hands-on position responsible for keeping our company vehicles, equipment, warehouse, and facilities organized, maintained, and operating properly. Pay and Benefits $45,000–$60,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications Six paid holidays Paid vacation and sick time SIMPLE IRA with a 3% company match Employee discounts Steady, year-round work Supportive team environment What You’ll Do Fleet and Equipment Maintenance Inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair company service trucks and other vehicles Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, brakes, batteries, belts, hoses, filters, fluids, tires, and basic electrical repairs Identify mechanical problems before they cause breakdowns or interfere with daily operations Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records for each company vehicle Schedule outside repairs when work cannot be completed in-house Track vehicle registrations, inspections, warranties, and scheduled maintenance Maintain and repair plumbing equipment, drain-cleaning machines, trailers, tools, and other company equipment Maintain the interiors and service bodies of company trucks, including shelving layouts, storage systems, truck build-outs, organization, and custom modifications Help design and improve truck layouts so tools, equipment, parts, and materials are stored safely and efficiently Respond to urgent vehicle or equipment issues when needed Keep the maintenance area clean, safe, and properly organized Warehouse Management Organize and maintain the warehouse, yard, storage areas, and material inventory Receive, inspect, label, and properly store incoming deliveries Maintain accurate counts of plumbing materials, equipment, tools, and commonly used parts Monitor inventory levels and notify management when materials need to be reordered Prepare and stage materials for upcoming jobs Check materials and equipment in and out to technicians Deliver parts, tools, and materials to technicians at job sites when needed Help ensure company trucks are properly stocked and organized Track company-owned tools and equipment Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment Identify damaged, missing, or improperly stored materials Facility Maintenance Perform general maintenance and minor repairs at company buildings and properties Complete basic carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, and facility-maintenance tasks within your experience level Maintain exterior areas, parking areas, storage areas, gates, and company property Help improve warehouse shelving, storage systems, work areas, and company facilities Ensure maintenance and warehouse areas follow company safety procedures Qualifications High school diploma or GED Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record At least three years of relevant automotive, diesel, fleet, equipment, warehouse, or maintenance experience preferred Strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities Experience maintaining and repairing work trucks, vans, trailers, or commercial equipment Ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance and common mechanical repairs independently Strong organizational and inventory-management skills Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and…
