Fleet Mechanic

Position Overview The Fleet Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance and repair of a diverse fleet of vehicles and equipment, including trucks, trailers, and heavy machinery. This role ensures that all vehicles are in safe, operational condition, and repairs are completed in a timely manner. The Fleet Mechanic will also be responsible for diagnosing mechanical issues, performing preventative maintenance, and communicating repair needs to the Fleet Manager. Key Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance; inspections, oil changes, and other repairs on fleet vehicles including trucks, trailers, heavy equipment, and lawn equipment. Diagnose and repair issues related to driveline, steering, suspension, electrical systems, and electronic components. Perform welding and cutting torch operations as needed. Properly document all repairs and maintenance activities in a timely manner. Qualifications 2-5 years of fleet maintenance/mechanic experience required. Valid Oklahoma Driver’s License required. Experience with Fleetio preferred Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
