Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fleet Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair, with experience in heavy equipment and automotive diagnostics. This role involves working on a variety of vehicles and machinery, ensuring they are safe, reliable, and operating efficiently. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles, including trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment. Diagnose mechanical issues using automotive diagnostics tools and schematics. Conduct repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, air brakes, hydraulics, suspension systems, and HVAC systems. Execute tire service, brake repair, shocks & struts replacement, and alignment services. Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed on each vehicle. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks while providing an excellent customer experience. Uphold safety standards. Requirements Proven experience as a mechanic or service technician with a focus on automotive or industrial equipment repair. Familiarity with tractor-trailer operations is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair processes. Ability to read and interpret schematics for electrical systems and mechanical components. Capability to perform heavy lifting as required during maintenance tasks. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail in diagnosing issues accurately. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and customers.
