Fleet ManagerLocation: Frederick, Maryland Company: ACE Solutions LLC Job Type: Full-time Pay: $80,0000 to $95,000 Ace Solutions is looking for an experienced and dependable Fleet Manager to oversee our fleet of passenger buses at our Frederick, Maryland location. This position is responsible for ensuring all vehicles are properly titled, registered, inspected, maintained, and ready for daily operations. Responsibilities: Oversee the maintenance, repairs, inspections, and overall condition of the fleet Schedule preventive maintenance and ensure repairs are completed promptly Coordinate with mechanics, dealerships, inspection facilities, and outside vendors Manage vehicle titles, registrations, tags, and title or registration transfers between states Ensure vehicles meet Maryland state inspection and federal DOT inspection requirements Maintain current inspection documents, insurance cards, registrations, and maintenance records Review driver vehicle inspection reports and follow up on reported mechanical or safety concerns Track vehicle mileage, service history, assignments, and availability Respond to breakdowns and urgent fleet-related issues Order and track necessary parts, fluids, equipment, and safety supplies Communicate fleet updates with drivers, transportation managers, and company leadership Assist with vehicle transfers and fleet setup at other locations when needed Ensure all vehicles remain safe, compliant, and ready for passenger transportation Qualifications: Previous fleet management, transportation, automotive, or commercial vehicle experience Knowledge of vehicle titles, registrations, interstate title transfers, and state-specific requirements Strong knowledge of Maryland state inspections and federal DOT inspections Experience managing buses or other commercial passenger vehicles is strongly preferred Understanding of preventive maintenance and commercial vehicle safety requirements Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple vehicles, vendors, repairs, and deadlines Comfortable using email, spreadsheets, and digital recordkeeping systems Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record CDL with Passenger and Air Brake endorsements is preferred Ability to travel when necessary Must be available to respond to occasional urgent or after-hours fleet issues The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, mechanically knowledgeable, and familiar with the documentation and inspection requirements for commercial passenger vehicles.
