What We Are Looking For:
• Full-Time year-round
• Must be licensed mechanic.
• Reliable, punctual, wanting a place for long term growth.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and demonstrate initiative.
• Valid G class clean license is a must - AZ/DZ is preferred.
While working for Higgins Hardscape, you will be responsible to perform a variety of duties and responsibilities but not limited to:
• Managing fleet of 10 diesel trucks plus multiple machines.
• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and machinery.
• Repair or replace faulty parts.
• Conduct vehicle and equipment inspections prior to expiration.
• Keep accurate records of work performed.
• Submit receipts to the front office desk before each day's end.
Qualifications and Experience:
• 2 – 5 years related experience desired
• Must be experienced in mechanical maintenance.
• Provide and receive constructive feedback from shop employees.
• Keep the shop clean and make sure it is a safe working environment.
• Must have a valid & clean G class drivers license.
• Your own Transportation to get to and from our shop in Waterdown.
• Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions.
• You're looking for year-round work with interest in working during all 4 seasons.
