Do you like maintenance work that actually keeps vehicles out of the shop, and have 2+ years turning inspections into finished repairs? Are you ready to grow your skills, income, and impact at a proactive mobile fleet services company where the job is finding problems early and fixing them before they become downtime? At Centurion Fleet, we deliver Precision Fleet Care, Delivered On-Site, Engineered for Zero Downtime. Alongside our on-site windshield inspections, repairs, and visual health assessments — and our new commercial collision division — we are hiring a technician who can own scheduled maintenance and light repair for light- to medium-duty fleets (delivery vans, service trucks, box trucks, and utility vehicles). This is not a master-tech seat. You will be a vital player in our proactive fleet care model: running preventive maintenance cleanly, handling occasional light repairs, and knowing when a job needs deeper diagnostics. Find it. Fix it. Zero downtime. Your Responsibilities as a Fleet Maintenance Technician at Centurion Fleet You’ll be a vital player in our proactive fleet care model, combining reliable craftsmanship with customer-focused service for commercial operators who can’t afford downtime. Here’s what you’ll do: Perform scheduled maintenance on commercial fleet vehicles, including cargo vans in the 10,001–26,000 lb GVWR range. Complete oil and filter services, brakes, tires, batteries, belts, cooling system, lighting, and related preventive-maintenance items. Conduct multi-point and visual health inspections, and document findings so issues get fixed before they sideline a route. Handle occasional light repairs: brakes, wear items, sensors, minor electrical, and straightforward mechanical work. Escalate diagnostics and heavy repairs you are not set up to finish — no “good enough” fixes, and no jobs left half done. Integrate with our mobile inspection and glass team — resolving maintenance items found on site, and supporting shop work out of North Salt Lake. Deliver photo-documented, audit-ready work orders with clear reporting for fleet managers. Provide exceptional service to fleet operations, safety, and compliance teams — explaining what you found and what prevents the next failure. Here’s What You Need to Succeed as a Fleet Maintenance Technician at Centurion Fleet We value craftsmanship, reliability, and a proactive mindset that aligns with our brand voice: professional, preventive, efficient, and transparent. Our core values are: We’re Safe, We Care, We’re Capable and We’re Driven. These values make us who we are, and you need to be in alignment with them to succeed here. 2+ years of hands-on automotive, fleet, or commercial maintenance experience, or equivalent shop experience. Proven ability to complete preventive maintenance and light repairs independently, the first time, while minimizing vehicle downtime. Experience with commercial or light-duty fleet vehicles is strongly preferred (Ram ProMaster and similar cargo vans a plus). ASE certifications, or willingness to earn them — we sponsor ASE. Fleet or DOT inspection experience is a plus, not a requirement. Diesel exposure is a plus. Eye for detail and a clean paper trail — inspections and work orders our fleet customers can audit. Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, insurable on company vehicles, and ability to lift 50+ lbs. Comfort with digital tools, photo reporting, and mobile technology. Reliable, on time, and clear when a job needs a second set of eyes. This Job Is NOT For You If… You want a master-tech diagnostic seat, or you prefer reactive “drop-off and forget” shop work over proactive fleet maintenance. You’re okay cutting corners on safety, quality, or documentation — our fleet customers (logistics, contractors, municipal, rental) demand audit-ready results. “Good enough&rdquo…
