Fleet Maintenance Diagnostic Specialist
ConfidentialMake Reliability Happen, Every Mile Step into a day where your expertise keeps students moving safely. You arrive on site, scan the work queue on your tablet, and start with a driver-reported brake vibration. You perform a quick road test, pull diagnostic codes, and trace the issue to a suspension component. After a precise repair and a confirmatory test drive, you log time, parts, and notes right on the work tablet. Next up: programming a new telematics unit, then a preventive maintenance inspection that includes fluids, steering, drivetrain, electrical, and A/C checks. A road call comes in—an overheating alert—so you head out, troubleshoot the cooling system on the roadside, and get the vehicle back in service. Throughout the day, your bay stays orderly, tools are stored, and every repair meets DOT requirements and company housekeeping and safety standards.
