Fleet Foreperson

Description: The Fleet Foreperson position is responsible for ensuring that the GR Operations fleet and maintenance shop is in good repair and ready for daily operations. This position ensures that equipment is properly maintained and documents all work. The Fleet Foreperson is part of the Mountain Operations Team and assists regularly with snowmaking operations, snow removal, parking, golf maintenance, and more as needed. Fleet consists of snowcats, heavy equipment, ATV/UTVs, snowmobiles, trucks, sander, bucket truck and more. Experience with diesel engines, hydraulics, heavy equipment, tracked vehicles is required. Requirements Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Performs and documents daily, weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance on all GR motorized equipment as required for the type of machine or vehicle. Maintains shop, vehicle lift, equipment, fuel, oil, lubricants, to OSHA standards; keeps up to date MSDS sheets, plowing and sanding tracking Inspects completed work to guarantee compliance with quality standards Recruits, hires, trains and directs mechanics including performance reviews and documentation Ensures smooth operations with planning, execution, timely communication with department managers and General Manager Preferred Experience and Special Skills: Minimum 5 years’ experience with diesel engines and hydraulics required & Minimum 3 years’ experience gas engines, 2 stroke engines, UTV, ATV, snowmobiles preferred Experience with snowcat maintenance strongly preferred Strong communication skills both verbal and written Proven experience as a Shop/Fleet Foreperson or similar role Company: Granby Ranch Contact: Tara Carillo tcarrillo@granbyranch.com
