Fleet Dispatcher

Title: Dispatcher Location : Greeley, CO Pay rate: $27-$29/hour Shift Schedule: 5 on (Mon-Fri) 3 off (Sun-Mon) 5 on (Tues-Sat.) 2 off (Sun-Tues.) Hours : 4:30am – 5:30pm Must haves: HS Diploma 2+ years of dispatching, transportation, logistics, trucking, or operations support experience preferred. Strong multitasking and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to effectively manage multiple drivers, schedules, and customer requests simultaneously. Proficient with Microsoft Office and dispatching or transportation management systems. Plusses: Bilingual Experience in trucking, oilfield services, logistics, or transportation operations preferred. Day to Day: The Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating daily trucking operations by managing driver schedules, assigning loads, and serving as the primary point of contact between drivers, customers, and operations teams. This role ensures efficient utilization of equipment and personnel while maintaining constant communication to support safe, timely, and accurate service delivery. Key Responsibilities Dispatch and coordinate 15-20 drivers daily, ensuring efficient routing and load assignments. Manage driver activity throughout the day, including tracking load completion and assigning subsequent jobs. Respond to customer service requests received via phone, email, and text, coordinating approximately 25+ jobs per day. Prepare and maintain daily work schedules and trucking assignments. Monitor driver locations, equipment utilization, and service progress to maximize operational efficiency. Communicate regularly with drivers, customers, and operations personnel to resolve issues and ensure service expectations are met. Determine equipment, vehicle, and personnel requirements based on customer requests and operational needs. Maintain accurate records of customer requests, completed services, dispatch activities, charges, and operational data. Address customer questions, service issues, and scheduling changes in a timely and professional manner. Collaborate with operations teams to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable transportation services.
