Fleet Diesel Mechanic

Diesel Technician/Mechanic to maintain and repair a fleet of refuse and recycling trucks in a safety-first, team-based environment. Key Responsibilities Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel engines and related systems. Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and braking systems and other vehicle components. Complete preventive maintenance and ensure proper vehicle performance. Respond to road calls and resolve mechanical issues efficiently. Document diagnostics and repairs accurately through work orders. Ensure vehicles meet DOT requirements and internal company standards. Qualifications & Skills Strong diesel/mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills. Working knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and braking system diagnostics. Proven commitment to safety and reliable teamwork. Ability to complete preventive maintenance and follow compliance requirements. Competent documentation skills for work orders and maintenance records.
