Job Responsibilities
• Safely operate company-owned flatbed equipment throughout Canada and the United States.
• Complete Canada–U.S. cross-border trips as required.
• Properly secure loads using straps, chains, binders, tarps, and other load-securement equipment.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and ensure all equipment is safe and roadworthy.
• Load and unload freight safely and efficiently when required.
• Follow all DOT, MTO, FMCSA, and company safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate logs, trip documentation, delivery paperwork, and inspection reports.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, shippers, and receivers.
• Follow dispatch instructions and maintain scheduled pickup and delivery times.
• Report any equipment, cargo, or delivery issues to dispatch promptly.
• Maintain a clean and professional truck and trailer.
Requirements
• Valid AZ Driver's Licence
• Minimum 1 year of flatbed driving experience
• Previous Canada–U.S. cross-border driving experience required
• Clean and safe driving record
• Valid passport and required documentation to cross the Canada–U.S. border
• Strong knowledge of load securement, tarping, chaining, and strapping
• Good understanding of hours-of-service and transportation regulations
• Ability to complete proper vehicle inspections
• Good communication and customer-service skills
• Reliable, professional, and safety-oriented attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
