Flatbed Tow Truck Driver - Full Time - South Bay

Duties Operate flatbed tow trucks safely and efficiently to transport vehicles across designated routes within the South Bay region Load and unload vehicles with precision, ensuring secure placement on the flatbed to prevent damage during transit Conduct basic automotive diagnostics and mechanical assessments to identify vehicle issues before towing Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, explaining services, and addressing concerns professionally Maintain accurate logs of all trips, vehicle conditions, and service details for record-keeping and reporting purposes Perform routine inspections of tow trucks and equipment such as forklifts to ensure safety standards are met and maintenance is scheduled as needed Manage conflict situations calmly and effectively, resolving customer concerns or disputes with professionalism and tact Requirements Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and experience operating flatbed tow trucks or similar vehicles Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive diagnostics, automotive repair, and working with manual transmissions Hands-on experience with tow truck operations, including load & unload procedures and securing vehicles properly on flatbeds Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues using automotive diagnostics tools; mechanic experience is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage conflict management situations diplomatically Familiarity with forklift operation is desirable for handling heavy equipment or vehicle loading tasks Physical ability to lift heavy objects, perform manual tasks, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions Join us to be part of a dedicated team that values safety, efficiency, and exceptional service.
