Flatbed Tow Truck Driver (Day&Night)

Duties Safely operate flatbed tow trucks to load, secure, transport, and unload vehicles following cargo securement protocols Conduct basic vehicle troubleshooting and minor mechanical repairs to ensure tow truck readiness and operational safety Perform vehicle recovery towing for a variety of vehicle types, including cars and trucks Maintain accurate documentation of all towing activities, including logs of vehicle pick-up and drop-off details Follow all safety procedures for safe vehicle loading onto the tow truck and during transportation Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, and team members to coordinate timely service delivery Adhere to traffic laws and commercial driving regulations while maintaining a clean driving record and operating manual transmission vehicles Qualifications Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with flatbed tow truck driving preferred Proven mechanical knowledge with automotive diagnostics, automotive repair skills, and basic vehicle troubleshooting Hands-on experience with flatbed tow trucks or similar heavy-duty tow truck vehicles; mechanic experience is a plus Strong understanding of tow truck protocols and safe vehicle loading techniques Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage conflicts professionally when necessary Ability to work independently in various weather conditions and adapt quickly to changing priorities Knowledge of vehicle mechanics for truck drivers and familiarity with car towing and vehicle recovery towing procedures Compensation Pay is based on the number of vehicles towed. Earnings are determined by the number of completed tows, providing drivers with the opportunity to increase their pay based on the productivity and workload.
