Traffic control and site support on an active construction site in Squamish. NO TICKET? WE PAY FOR IT. A TCP ticket is required to work flagging shifts. If you do not have one, we pay for the course and put you to work while you earn it. That is not a line in an ad, it is how we build crews. WHAT THE WORK IS - Traffic control at site entrances and on the road, to the traffic management plan - Setting up and taking down signs, cones and barricades - General site support between traffic duties: material handling, clean-up, helping the trades - Standing outdoors in all weather and staying switched on while you do it WHAT WE ACTUALLY WANT Someone reliable who turns up on time, every day. The tickets we can buy. Showing up we cannot. The more tickets you hold, the higher up the range you start. We also fund your OFA. WHAT YOU GET Your rate is agreed in writing before your first shift. Most agencies won't tell you until you've already turned up. We will. Live in Squamish, Brackendale, Whistler or Pemberton and the site is on your doorstep. ABOUT ONYX Onyx Solutions supplies trained, ticketed, bilingual construction crews across the Sea-to-Sky corridor and Metro Vancouver. Owner-run, and the owner is on the sites himself. English and Spanish spoken on every crew. This is how a lot of our people got onto the tools. Must be 19+ and legally entitled to work in Canada.
