Fitness Equipment Warehouse / Installation/ Delivery Associate

Job Description: We are looking for a motivated and dependable Fitness Equipment Warehouse / Delivery & Installation Associate to join our team. This role involves both the installation of fitness equipment as well as performing various warehouse duties to ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of fitness equipment assembly, a strong work ethic, and the ability to assist with inventory management and warehouse tasks. Key Responsibilities: Warehouse Operations: Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments of fitness equipment and supplies. Store and organize fitness equipment in the warehouse according to company guidelines. Assist in the preparation of equipment for delivery, including packaging, labeling, and inventory management. Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment. Manage inventory levels, track stock, and ensure that products are in good condition for sale or installation. Shipping and Receiving: Assist with the loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring that all products are handled safely and efficiently. Ensure all outgoing orders are packed securely and are accurate before shipment. Work with the shipping and receiving team to coordinate deliveries, restocks, and returns. Fitness Equipment Installation: (This will be performed as needed.) Unbox, assemble, and install a variety of fitness equipment, such as treadmills, ellipticals, weight machines, and stationary bikes. Ensure all equipment is properly assembled, calibrated, and tested to meet manufacturer standards and customer specifications. Provide guidance to customers on how to safely use and maintain their equipment. Perform quality checks to ensure equipment functions correctly before and after installation. Customer Service and Communication: Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding installation schedules, product availability, and any special requirements. Assist with scheduling and coordinating installations, deliveries, and warehouse tasks. Equipment Maintenance and Safety: Perform routine maintenance checks on fitness equipment to ensure functionality and safety. Adhere to safety guidelines and use appropriate tools and equipment to prevent accidents and injuries. Report any damages, malfunctions, or safety hazards to management. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the warehouse team and installation team to ensure that all projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards. Assist other departments as needed with tasks such as inventory control, order fulfillment, and restocking. Qualifications: · High school diploma or equivalent. · Previous experience in assembly, installation, or warehouse work is preferred, especially in fitness equipment. · Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to use hand tools and power tools. · Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. · Ability to lift and move heavy equipment (up to 100 lbs.) and handle physical labor. · Ability to work independently and as part of a team. · Good communication and customer service skills. · Valid Missouri class E driver’s license for work related and delivery tasks. · Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen as well as ongoing random drug screenings based on DOT parameters. Work Environment: · This role requires both physical labor and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. · Occasionally, work in tight spaces, lifting and moving heavy items, and working in various weather conditions for outdoor installations. · Safety equipment (gloves, safety shoes, etc.) must be always worn in the warehouse and during installations.
