Fire Rescue Fleet Support Specialist
Miami Dade CountyMinimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Four years of experience in fire rescue mobile fleet, special event apparatus and/or automotive fleet equipment and maintenance are required. Must possess a Class A CDL or Class B with HAZ-MAT endorsement. Recruitment Notes This position reports to the Fire Prevention Division, Special Events Bureau. The incumbent is responsible for fleet maintenance, field testing, maintenance and support of all emergency medical equipment; delivery of fleet equipment to include trucks, trailers, fuel tankers, vehicles, and rescue carts of different venues; re-fueling of fleet equipment via the fuel tanker; maintains and manages the inventory database that tacks medication expiration dates; and accounts for capital assets assigned to the Special Events Bureau.
