Northeast Expedited Express, LLCJob Overview As a FedEx Ground Doubles Tractor Trailer Driver on the home-daily night shift, you’ll move freight safely and reliably between facilities using a tractor-trailer with double trailers. You’ll follow assigned route-driving schedules, use GPS navigation, and complete required inspections and shipment records. This role involves commercial truck driving at night. Your impact: Safe, timely freight movement helps keep shipments flowing for customers and receiving teams. This is a home daily position, and you would be the only driver at FedEx Ground in Charlottesville, VA. Responsibilities Drive doubles tractor-trailers on scheduled routes Inspect equipment and freight before, during, and after trips; report defects or shipment concerns Use GPS navigation and route information to reach destinations and complete delivery-driving tasks Follow Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), Department of Transportation (DOT), and applicable hazardous materials regulations Requirements Commercial driving experience operating a tractor-trailer; delivery driver experience and route driving are valuable Valid commercial driver qualifications and ability to operate a manual transmission Pay: $1,500.00 - $1,700.00 per week Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Paid orientation Paid sick time Paid time off Paid training Referral program Safety equipment provided Vision insurance Work Location: In person
