FedEx Delivery Driver
SSGMAT INCOverview As a FedEx Delivery Driver, you’ll keep packages moving safely and reliably from pickup to delivery. You’ll drive an assigned route, handle shipments, and provide courteous service at each stop. $2500.00 Sign-on bonus after 90 days with specific Company protocols met. Rapid Raises for outstanding performance. Duties Drive a box truck on assigned routes and complete deliveries and pickups. Load and unload packages (up to 150#'s); using safe lifting practices and material handling equipment, including a hand truck. Use a mobile device to follow routes, record delivery details, and communicate status. Follow traffic regulations and applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements. Skills Required: Valid driving qualifications for the assigned vehicle, safe driving habits, and ability to lift and move packages (up to 150#'s) in line with workplace weight-handling requirements. Preferred: Delivery driver, courier, van driver, commercial truck driving, or other commercial driving experience; familiarity with box trucks, route driving, and personal vehicle delivery. Ability to follow safe lifting practices, handle manual work, and provide customer service. Familiarity with DOT regulations is beneficial; willingness to follow procedures and learn assigned routes is important. Must pass background and drug test and attain a Medical Card per Company protocols. Ability to handle stressful situations in a fast-paced environment. Complete a 2-hour, unpaid, Safety course.
