FedEx Contingency Drivers Needed (300/day) ACTIVE FEDEX DRIVERS ONLY

Overview Looking for ACTIVE Fedex drivers to do contingency work around the Northeast. We will be starting in Banghor, Maine and traveling anywhere needed through peak and beyond. Duties Safely operate various types of delivery vehicles, including box trucks, vans, and personal vehicles, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Load and unload packages using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks. Drive assigned routes efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining safety protocols. Assist with warehouse operations when necessary, including moving goods, organizing shipments, and supporting inventory management. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams using mobile devices to receive route updates and report delivery statuses. Provide excellent customer service by ensuring packages are delivered accurately and professionally, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns. Follow safe lifting practices during manual handling tasks involving heavy or bulky items to prevent injuries. Qualifications Looking for current valid FedEx drivers already working and willing to travel or relocate Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks, vans, or commercial trucks preferred. Knowledge of route driving including GroundCloud, traffic regulations, DOT regulations, and weight handling in the workplace Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks; able to stand, walk, lift, and move for extended periods. Excellent communication skills with proficiency in using mobile devices for navigation and reporting purposes. Ability to adhere strictly to safety standards including safe lifting practices and proper use of warehouse equipment.
