Family Transportation Specialist

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and dependable Family Transportation Specialist to provide safe, efficient, and friendly transportation services for families and clients. In this vital role, you will operate various passenger vehicles, including vans, shuttles, and other client-specific transportation modes, ensuring timely arrivals and departures while maintaining excellent customer service. Duties Safely operate passenger vehicles such as vans, shuttles, limousines, or personal vehicles to transport clients on scheduled routes or as needed. Follow GPS navigation systems and local driving routes to ensure timely arrivals at designated destinations. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing excellent customer service and ensuring comfort throughout the journey. Conduct routine vehicle inspections, perform basic maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly to ensure vehicle safety and reliability. Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, state transportation regulations, and company policies during every trip. Communicate effectively with clients regarding schedules, route changes, or delays to maintain transparency and trust. Handle heavy lifting when necessary for loading or unloading luggage or mobility aids while maintaining proper manual handling techniques. Requirements Proven experience as a delivery driver, bus driver, shuttle driver, chauffeur, or in similar passenger transportation roles. Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type operated; commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred but not mandatory depending on vehicle size. Demonstrated knowledge of GPS navigation tools and local driving routes. Experience operating passenger vans, medical transportation vehicles, limousines, or client-specific transport vehicles. Strong understanding of traffic regulations, safety standards, and state transportation laws governing passenger vehicles. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse clients and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when loading/unloading luggage or mobility devices. Prior experience in medical transportation or client-focused driving is a plus. Reliable attendance record with a commitment to punctuality and safety at all times.
