We are seeking a Factory Manager in Manassas, VA to oversee the production of Microwave Modules for military aircraft IFF systems, ensuring compliance with Mil STD 883. This self-starter will manage a 20+-person team across multiple shifts, collaborating with supporting functions (Technical Operations, Supply Chain, Quality) to deliver on cost, quality, and schedule. The successful candidate will champion a Zero-Defect Culture and possess a proven ability to drive both short-term problem-solving and long-term continuous improvement. They should be comfortable presenting to management and influencing stakeholders at all levels. Required skills include expertise in advanced manufacturing, Capacity Planning, Lean/Six Sigma, and a thorough understanding of AS9100, AS9145, MIL-STD 883, MIL-PRF-38534, MIL-PRF-38535, and Space Production Requirements. Required Education, Experience, & Skills Skills and Education BS in Business Administration or a Technical Field. Requires strong manufacturing background and experience in complex electronics assembly. In depth knowledge of automated testing and process equipment used for in-process and final build and testing of Space manufacturing product base. Demonstrated experience supporting product development and NPI (New Product Introduction) transition of complex Space based microelectronics. Requires strong capability to lead and work in a team setting, strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer first attitude. Must be capable of leading large and small team projects of a highly technical nature. Must be a US citizen eligible for a DOW security clearance. Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Skills Supply chain support experience desirable. Must be self-motivated, independent, and capable of leading support folks who don’t report directly to the factory manager. Must have a working familiarity with ISO 9001/ AS9100 quality systems and DoD manufacturing and test standards MIL-STD 883, MIL-PRF-38534, MIL-PRF-38535 and Space Production Requirements Six-Sigma Black Belt, Root Cause Analysis 7S/Lean Certified Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $134640 - $228888 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
