Facilities Maintenance, Shipping and Receiving Technician
Jenkins Machine Inc.Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Facilities Maintenance, Shipping & Receiving Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our facility and equipment while supporting efficient shipping and receiving operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your skills in a fast-paced setting while contributing to the overall success of our operations. Driving company van will also be required. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs within the shop facility, grounds, and equipment while following all safety protocols. Support shipping and receiving operations by packaging outgoing shipments, receiving incoming materials, verifying documentation, and ensure proper handling. Complete light computer work, including processing paperwork and entering information into our ERP system. Operate automated saw for material preparation. Operate Forklift as needed (training provided ). Conduct regular facility inspections to ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained work environment, and maintain records of completed maintenance tasks. Out Assist with special projects and other operational duties as assigned. Work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating with other team members to prioritize work and ensure timely completion. Driving company van making local deliveries as needed Skills Mechanical aptitude and the ability to safely operate hand and power tools. Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions. Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and time management skills. Customer service mindset with a commitment to safety, quality, and dependable support. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required. Forklift experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
