The F135 Depot Material Analyst role supports the Jacksonville (JAX) F135 program by ensuring timely availability of required parts for assembly processes. This position focuses on managing material flow, preventing work stops, and optimizing turnaround times for late Gate call-ups. What You Will Do Ensure all required parts are kitted and ready for assembly by scheduled dates. Manage on-time kitting, material work stops prevention, forward supply effectiveness, and turnaround time minimization. Coordinate material orders, delivery, and tracking on the shop floor. Support Gate 1 - 3 processes (engine disassembly, repair, and assembly) by facilitating shipment of external repair parts, storage of serviceable parts, and review of scrap parts. Source parts from stock, swap parts from engines in work, and track external repair parts. Release completed engine build kits to production controllers and monitor SAP for late part requirements. Use SAP software daily to track serviceable parts, process orders, reconcile kits, and perform production order reconciliation. Participate in material review meetings, update weekly and monthly material statuses, and address specific material issues as needed. Monitor inventory levels against agreed-upon targets and drive continuous improvement projects to eliminate material work stops and late Gate call-ups. Qualifications You Must Have Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of supply chain, logistics and/or materials management experience, or an advanced degree with 3 years of supply chain, logistics, and/or materials management experience or "in lieu of" degree with 9 years of supply chain, logistics, and/or materials management experience U.S. Citizenship is required due to government contracts. Qualifications We Prefer Experience in aviation industry operations or related fields. Familiarity with continuous process improvement methodologies such as CORE, Six Sigma, or Lean; CORE Associate preferred. Experience with purchasing/contracts and inventory management.
