Exterior Cladding Subcontractor

Colour Scheme is expanding its exterior services for the 2026 season, and we are looking for skilled, reliable subcontractors specializing in exterior cladding installation . We are looking for long-term partners who take pride in their workmanship, work efficiently, and consistently deliver high-quality results. Our exterior projects will include residential renovations and new construction requiring professional installation of various exterior cladding systems. The ideal subcontractor will have proven experience installing siding and exterior cladding, strong attention to detail, and the ability to complete projects according to specifications, manufacturer requirements, and agreed timelines. As a subcontractor, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality exterior projects and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Install exterior cladding and siding according to project specifications and manufacturer requirements. Properly prepare surfaces prior to installation. Ensure cladding is installed straight, level, properly aligned, and securely fastened. Properly install and integrate flashing, weatherproofing, and related components. Complete work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship. Collaborate with project managers to coordinate schedules, materials, and project requirements. Communicate clearly regarding project progress, potential issues, and additional work required. Identify and troubleshoot installation issues on-site. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite. Follow all applicable building codes, safety regulations, and manufacturer installation requirements. Provide accurate estimates for labour, materials, and expected completion times. Complete invoices and required project documentation in a timely manner. Qualifications Proven experience in exterior cladding or siding installation. Strong knowledge of exterior cladding installation methods and materials. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and complete projects within agreed timelines. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Knowledge of proper flashing, weatherproofing, and moisture-management practices is an asset. Familiarity with applicable building codes and manufacturer installation requirements. Must possess the necessary tools and equipment required for the work. Reliable transportation is required. Liability insurance and WCB coverage are an asset and may be required depending on the project.
