Experienced OTR Dry Van Dispatcher

We are an established trucking company seeking an experienced OTR Dry Van Dispatcher to join our team in Mount Prospect, IL. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS — PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING A MINIMUM OF 2 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE DISPATCHING OVER-THE-ROAD (OTR) DRY VAN TRUCK DRIVERS IS REQUIRED. Dry van dispatching experience is mandatory . Please do not apply if you do not have at least 2 years of experience dispatching OTR dry van drivers. Responsibilities Dispatch OTR dry van drivers efficiently and professionally Find, negotiate, and book loads using load boards Plan routes and coordinate driver schedules Communicate clearly and consistently with drivers, brokers, and customers Monitor loads from pickup through delivery Handle scheduling changes and resolve issues that arise while drivers are on the road Maintain strong communication and organization throughout the workday Qualifications Minimum 2 years of OTR dry van dispatching experience — REQUIRED Strong knowledge of load boards and the freight market Strong communication and negotiation skills Ability to manage multiple drivers and loads simultaneously Dependable, organized, and able to work independently Knowledge of DataTruck and DAT are a plus Bosnian, Serbian, or Croatian language skills are a plus COMPENSATION The harder you work and the more revenue you generate, the more money you can make. Expected compensation is a minimum of $1,000+ per week , but earnings can vary based on experience, performance, the number of trucks managed, and the revenue you generate. There is an opportunity to earn more than $1,000 per week for a dispatcher who is motivated, negotiates strong rates, keeps trucks moving, and produces results. This is a 1099 independent contractor position with no benefits. Schedule & Hybrid Opportunity This position is 100% on-site in Mount Prospect, IL for at least the first 3 months. You must be able to commute to our Mount Prospect office 5 days per week during this period. After successfully completing the first 3 months, the position may transition to a hybrid schedule , allowing you to choose certain days to work from home.
