Experienced Medical Transport Dispatcher

We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and highly organized Dispatcher to join our growing Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) team. The ideal candidate will have previous dispatching experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, works independently, and can confidently manage daily operations while providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities: Schedule, coordinate, and dispatch drivers for daily medical transportation trips. Answer incoming phone calls, emails, and text messages. Communicate professionally with drivers, healthcare facilities, clients, and family members. Monitor trips, track driver progress, and provide ETA updates. Handle scheduling changes, cancellations, delays, and unexpected driver call-outs. Coordinate pickups with hospitals, nursing facilities, and clinics. Prepare and send invoices, process payments, and follow up on outstanding balances. Maintain accurate trip, billing, and client records. Assist with administrative duties as needed. Qualifications: Minimum 1–2 years of professional dispatching experience required. NEMT or medical transportation dispatching experience strongly preferred. Experience with invoicing, billing, or payment collection preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. Ability to problem-solve and make decisions independently. Comfortable using computers, scheduling software, and multiple communication platforms. Reliable, punctual, detail-oriented, and professional. Ability to remain calm and organized under pressure. Remote Work Requirements: Quiet, professional workspace with reliable high-speed internet. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Must be responsive and available throughout scheduled working hours. Must maintain confidentiality of client information. Please note: Prior professional dispatching experience is required.
