Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Location: British Columbia, Canada Position: Long-Haul Truck Driver – Flat Deck Job Description Triple Lane Transport Inc. is currently seeking experienced and reliable Flat Deck Long-Haul Truck Drivers to join our growing team. We are looking for safety-conscious professionals with proven flatbed driving experience who can operate independently and handle long-distance transportation across Canada and/or the United States. The successful candidate must have hands-on experience with flat deck operations, cargo securement, and long-haul transportation. Key Responsibilities Operate commercial trucks with flat deck trailers for long-distance transportation. Safely load, unload, secure, and transport various types of freight. Perform proper cargo securement using chains, straps, binders, and other required equipment. Perform tarping and untarping when required. Conduct thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections. Maintain accurate Hours of Service (HOS) records, logbooks, and required transportation documents. Follow all applicable provincial, federal, and cross-border transportation regulations. Ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of road safety. Report vehicle defects, mechanical issues, incidents, and delays promptly. Maintain professional communication with dispatch and management. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum 1-2 years of verifiable flat deck / flatbed trucking experience is mandatory. Valid Class 1 driver's licence (Canada). Strong knowledge of flat deck cargo securement procedures. Practical experience with chains, straps, binders, and tarping. Good understanding of Canadian Hours of Service regulations and transportation safety requirements. Clean or satisfactory driver's abstract. Ability to work independently and complete long-haul trips. Reliable, responsible, and safety-oriented attitude. Legally authorized to work in Canada.
