Experienced Diesel Mechanic / Diesel Technician Lemont Truck Center LLC – Lemont, IL 60439 Pay: $30–$45 per hour, depending on experience Lemont Truck Center is looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic / Heavy-Duty Truck Technician to join our growing team! We take pride in providing quality, efficient repairs in our professional 20,000 sq. ft. facility. Our shop offers a wide range of services, including heavy-duty truck repairs, diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and wheel alignments. Job Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy-duty diesel trucks and tractors. Perform engine diagnostics and mechanical repairs. Service and repair brakes, suspension, steering, electrical, and air systems. Perform heavy-duty truck wheel alignments. Perform preventive maintenance and vehicle inspections. Identify mechanical problems and complete repairs efficiently. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Deliver quality workmanship and take responsibility for completed repairs. Requirements Previous hands-on experience as a diesel mechanic or heavy-duty truck technician. Strong knowledge of diesel engines and heavy-duty truck systems. Experience with diagnostics and troubleshooting. Heavy-duty alignment experience preferred. Must have your own tools. Dependable, hardworking, and able to work independently.
