Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Expeditor to join our vibrant food service team. Responsibilities Act as the communication hub between kitchen staff and servers to facilitate timely order delivery Monitor food preparation progress and prioritize orders to meet service standards Ensure all food handling and safety protocols are strictly followed during expediting processes Coordinate with kitchen staff on special requests, dietary restrictions, and order modifications Maintain organization of orders on the pass station for quick retrieval and accurate delivery Assist with food presentation quality checks before serving to uphold visual standards Support bussing duties when necessary to keep service areas clean and organized Requirements Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments, including roles such as server, cook, or banquet staff Strong understanding of food preparation, handling, and safety procedures Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with kitchen staff and front-of-house team Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Familiarity with POS systems and basic numeracy for order management and billing accuracy Organizational skills to manage multiple orders simultaneously under time constraints Experience in hospitality settings such as hotels or catering is a plus Knowledge of food expediting techniques, culinary practices, and customer service principles Join us as an Expeditor and become a key player in delivering memorable dining experiences.
