Equipment Mover, CDL & Clean driving record

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Mover/Driver to join our team. This position involves transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in various types of driving, including commercial driving, and be comfortable operating different vehicle types such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and equipment trailers. Duties Safely operate trucks, including but not limited to tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and dump trucks. Load and unload freight efficiently while ensuring the integrity of the cargo. Navigate designated routes for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel consumption. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Utilize forklifts as needed for loading and unloading tasks. Handle refrigerated trailers and tanker operations when required. Requirements Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Experience with manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Familiarity with operating equipment trailers, flatbeds, and dump trucks is a plus. Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role involving route driving. Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the day. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on the road. Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and customers effectively.
