We specialize in selling brand-new RIPPA mini excavators, mini skid steers, compact track loaders, Rhinoceros excavators and loaders, and a variety of equipment attachments. Position Overview We're looking for a dependable, hands-on person to join our growing team as an Equipment Delivery Driver & Sales Associate. This is a little more than just a truck driving position! You'll be delivering equipment throughout the tri-state area, working directly with customers at our Farmingdale dealership, demonstrating machines, answering questions, and helping customers find the right equipment for their needs. We're looking for someone who knows their way around trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment, takes safety seriously, and enjoys working with people. Don't worry if you aren't familiar with RIPPA or Rhinoceros machines yet; we'll teach you everything you need to know! Candidates with their own diesel truck capable of safely hauling our equipment are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities (What You'll Do) Equipment Delivery & Transportation Deliver RIPPA and Rhinoceros mini excavators, loaders, mini skid steers, and attachments to customers throughout New Jersey and the surrounding tri-state area. Delivery hours will generally range from 1–20 hours per week, depending on customer demand. Safely operate a diesel pickup truck and equipment trailer. Properly load, secure, transport, and unload heavy equipment. Assist customers with safely loading purchased machines onto their own trailers. Ensure equipment is properly secured and inspected before every delivery. Maintain a clean, professional, and safe delivery operation. Dealership & Customer Interaction Work out of our Farmingdale, NJ dealership Tuesday–Saturday. Greet customers and assist potential buyers who visit our location. Answer questions about our machines, attachments, features, and specifications. Explain how the equipment works and help customers determine which machine is right for their needs. Demonstrate equipment operation and basic functionality. Build relationships with customers and provide a positive buying experience. Equipment Knowledge & Sales Learn to operate our RIPPA and Rhinoceros equipment lineup. Become knowledgeable about machine specifications, capabilities, attachments, and features across both brands. Help customers understand the differences between machines and available attachments. Assist with sales and help turn potential customers into buyers. Earn additional commission on equipment sales. Qualifications (Who You Are) 3–5+ years of truck driving and heavy machinery experience. Experience hauling, loading, securing, and transporting heavy equipment on and off trailers. Strong understanding of tie-downs, trailer safety, equipment loading, and weight distribution. Valid driver's license and good driving record (must be provided upon an offer). Ability to safely operate a diesel truck and trailer. CDL is a plus. Experience with diesel trucks, mini excavators, skid steers, tractors, or similar machinery is a major plus. Friendly and comfortable interacting with customers, discussing equipment, and helping generate sales. Mechanically inclined and willing to learn our equipment and attachments. Reliable, punctual, responsible, and extremely safety-conscious. Compensation & Schedule Hourly Pay: $22–$25 per hour, depending on relevant experience. Sales Commission: Up to $250 per machine sold + more for machine attachments Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, generally 9 AM–5 PM.
