Job Summary This job is central to the delivery and technical support of software-defined networks, focusing on configuring and troubleshooting. Job Description BEFORE YOU APPLY Location: CO - Denver, 8000 E Iliff Ave ; IL - Naperville, 1415 W Diehl Rd Ste 5 ; TX - Plano, 7900 Windrose Avenue 8th Floor; NJ- Mount Laurel, 1800 Bishops Gate Onsite Requirement: 4 days per week Must live within 50 miles of the office or self-relocate No relocation assistance available Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employer sponsorship Comcast will not provide employment visa sponsorship or immigration-related support for this position Responsibilities: Implementing Universal Customer Premise Equipment and updating inventory management with IP assignments and CLLI codes for network services Provisioning and configuring network services on the SDN platform, including Firewall, NAT/PAT, QoS, and BGP among others Creating complete Bill of Materials for site hardware, ensuring compatibility with service configurations to fulfill customer requirements Collaborating with Customer Project Managers to provide technical guidance and configurations during the Service Delivery process for IP network technologies Conducting tests and commissioning new uCPE and Wireless Backup circuits, documenting results and ensuring production environment readiness Recommending improvements to practices and procedures based on field experience and technical expertise in network service delivery Troubleshooting complex IP networking and security issues, employing expert knowledge to resolve problems and optimize network performance Engaging with customers to educate them on service functionalities, enhancing their understanding and satisfaction with provided solutions Analyzing and implementing test and acceptance criteria for network elements, ensuring adherence to performance and quality standards Coordinating with Engineering and Product Development teams to assess technical requirements, support operations, and contribute to product evolution Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
