End Dump Truck Driver
YBS Concrete, Inc.We are a local small business looking to hire a qualified end dump truck driver to haul on and off construction sites. Work Location: This position is based out of our yard in Otay Mesa. Employees will report to the yard and may travel to various job sites throughout San Diego County. Requirements Valid California Commercial Driver's License Clean Driving Record Must be able to pass a drug screening Previous end dump truck experience Ability to work nights and weekends on rare occasions, as needed Preferred but not required Familiarity with dump sites, construction sites, and local routes throughout San Diego County Duties include Safely transport materials to and from construction sites and dump sites. Safely maneuver and position the truck for loading and unloading at job sites. Perform loading and unloading duties as required. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections to ensure the truck is safe, properly maintained, and in good working condition. Monitor truck performance and promptly report mechanical issues, damage, maintenance needs, or safety concerns. Maintain the cleanliness and general upkeep of assigned trucks, including both the interior and exterior. Complete required daily paperwork, inspection reports, delivery tickets, and other documentation accurately and on time. Communicate regularly with the Driver Supervisor regarding job assignments, schedules, job-site conditions, delays, truck issues, and other important updates. Maintain clear communication with fellow drivers to help coordinate daily hauling operations. Follow company safety procedures, traffic laws, and all applicable commercial driving and job-site safety requirements. Perform other related duties as assigned.
